What’s it all about?

Rapidly expanding research clearly demonstrates that self-compassion is related to emotional wellbeing, lower anxiety and depression, maintenance of healthy habits, more satisfying personal relationships and it’s the easiest way to keep our hearts open and connected to others.

What we will cover?

The session will begin with a check-in, brief introduction to the concept of self-compassion, the exploration and practice of soothing touch, and group discussion.
Soothing touch practice is a powerful and easy way to soothe and comfort yourself when you are struggling. Together we will learn how to active your parasympathetic nervous system by using supportive touch to help you feel calm, cared for and safe.

What will you need?

  • A quiet and peaceful space
  • Comfortable clothes are encouraged.
