What’s it all about?
Gỏi cuốn or cold rice paper rolls are originally a Vietnamese traditional dish with pork or prawn, rice vermicelli, vegetables and herbs wrapped in rice paper. However, recipes and combinations stretch throughout South Asia with many yummy varieties. They are easy to make, healthy and delicious. In this class we’ll learn how to make them from scratch.
What will we cover?
We will start with an overview of the ingredients and where to buy them. Then we will get our hands dirty by preparing all the materials and finally making our own rolls to our taste. There will be meat and vegan options available.
Who will be teaching?
Natalia Naa (aka @natalianaa on Instagram) is a Melbourne based photographer, content curator and foodie. She shoots mainly portraitures, food, places and landscapes and she is inspired by adventure, travel and all things photogenic. She also seeks to inspire creativity, freedom and social connection through the clicks of a shutter button. Making friends with strangers and getting to know people better is her primary inspiration for her portraits – instead of focussing on how her subjects look, she focusses on conveying her feelings about them. She can’t wait to meet you all and have creative fun with pretty pictures!
