What’s it all about?

This class is designed to exhibit your inner children’s book writer. Whether you plan to write for a living or are a teacher, parent or uncle, in this class you’ll learn how to communicate and engage better with children via creative writing and maybe even write your own stories to convey lasting messages and memories.

This workshop-style class is interactive and allows for group discussion, and time to put ideas to paper. Take in a positive attitude and be prepared to write with interactive learning.

What will we cover?

From this workshop, you will gain the basics in constructing writing that is suitable for children in home and/or classroom settings. Take in a positive attitude and enjoy the creative atmosphere!

This class covers the idea-creation process to putting pen to paper to explore your own ideas. Each student will take home a writers’ tips worksheet to guide learning in your own time.
