What’s it all about?

Ebooks, or electronic books, are hugely popular. Every day people buy and read them on their laptop, tablet or Kindle. Come and learn how you can write and share your passion without being a computer geek or needing special software.

What we will cover?

Find out why now is a great time to be an independent author. Choose your topic, chapter planning and writing, then publishing are covered next. We will also discuss some effective low-budget marketing techniques to get your book read by others. Attendees will come away with confidence to investigate and write their first ebook.

Presenting 3aWho will be teaching?

Peter Parker is a transport nerd, electronics hobbyist and video producer who started writing for magazines while still a teenager.  He spends his spare time  tinkering with recycled electronics and amateur radio transmitting from beaches around Melbourne.

Peter started electronic publishing in 1997 when he built his website. Video production followed and you can find him on YouTube Since 2015 Peter has written four specialist non-fiction ebooks and received a Technical Excellence Award from the Wireless Institute of Australia for videos and ebooks.
