Laneway Learning became a Non-For-Profit in 2015 and since then we have been very lucky to have amazing people join our board of directors to help us drive Laneway Learning forward.
Being a voluntary role we are always grateful to receive such wonderful support and guidance. At the beginning of 2019 we welcomed a new batch of directors, as well as the return of Mark, one of our founders. We will soon tell you a bit more about them individually soon but for now, here is a little look at our new board:
Mark Gregory – Chair of the board
Mark is one of our co-founders and was highly involved with Laneway Learning in different roles until the end of 2017 when he went travelling and adventuring. He is back in Melbourne now, full of energy and ideas and ready to make things happen! See more about Mark here.
Louise Riseley – Secretary
Louise has joined the board as secretary as well as our community engagement, partnerships and volunteer management expert. Louise works in research and public policy and has extensive experience with NFP organisations. She has taught several classes with us, from sparking creativity to song-writing.
Elise Tuffy
Elise joined the board in 2018 and her focus is on legal and compliance. She is a lawyer with experience in the private, public and not-for-profit space. Although she hasn’t taught a class with us yet, we hope 2019 is her year!
Scott Malcolm
Scott is our all-things-finances mastermind. He runs his business, Money Mechanics, in financial planning and has taught many classes with us. His classes about superannuation, cash flow and investing are super useful and popular.
Steph Clarke
Steph is our new board member focussed on our strategic direction. After 13+ years in professional services, Steph has launched her own consultancy to help teams more high performing. She has taught bread making and meal planning with us.
Welcome and thank you, Board!
