What’s it all about?

We’ve all learnt meditation at some point in our pasts and we all know just how good it is for us, so why is it that we don’t do it as often as we should? Wouldn’t it be cool if instead of sitting cross legged in a quiet room for 20 minutes (but first having to find the room and the quiet!) we could meditate while walking between work or even while talking with a friend?

Is that even possible? Absolutely!

It doesn’t have to be hard or complex, it can actually be one of the simplest and most beneficial things you can do. We just believe for things to be good they must be hard. Using very simple games, activities and exercises that you can do with a friend or on your own you’ll get shown just how easy meditation can be when you have fun with it.

What will we cover?

In this workshop we will learn:

  • Various meditation techniques all giving you the same outcome – mindfulness.
  • How to meditate while walking, or doing anything!
  • How to incorporate meditation into a busy life.
  • Engage with your body on a much deeper level of awareness.
  • Understand and accept your emotions and feelings.

Who will be teaching?

Brett SolomanoEx-stunt performer, Brett Solomano, has spent nearly ten years working with danger, fear and adrenaline, teaching and learning from sports men and athletes, the very best tools and techniques for mindfulness, body awareness, emotional intelligence and meditation. Brett now spends his time working with at risk and disadvantaged youth helping them understand their “inner voice,” and their body in fun and deceptively simple ways.
