Batik is a traditional textile art from Malaysia and Indonesia, where liquid wax is drawn or written onto fabric and dyed in layers. The name derives from the Javanese words, amba (to write) and titik (dot)

In this class, you’ll learn a brief history of batik and then design and dye your own batik piece. You’ll also learn how to continue with this art form using materials found at home.

This class is beginner friendly! No experience required.
