After attending this class you’ll have a better understanding of the techniques and supplies you’ll need to multiply plants at home, as well as learning which ones will reward you with the best chance of success. Be warned – it’s addictive!
Once you see those new roots reaching out from beneath your plant and new leaves growing on top, you will want to grow more and more baby plants for your home. This is a great way to create cheap and cheerful gift for friends, with a bit of forward planning, anytime of the year.
What will we cover?
In this theory-based class we will talk about:
- How to create new plants from the ones you have
- The different propagating mediums (what you can grow things in)
- The timeline of your plant development; from cutting that leaf off, to having a newly potted plant from the cutting
- Which plants you can propagate easily at home
- Tips for success
Who will be teaching?
Sara is passionate about helping others learn new crafts and have a go at something they’ve always wanted to try. Not only a qualified Interior Architect and Designer, Sara also has 13 years’ experience teaching beginners how express their crafty and creative side and understands it’s not always easy when you’re learning how to DIY. Sara’s favourite colour is green, and if it fills her home in the form of a living jungle of plants, that’s perfect.
