This class has passed

As long as we have had embroidery, we have had samplers: small hand-stitched textiles that act as both a record and a reference for stitches.

In this beginner-friendly class we will be creating our own samplers with basic stitches that you can take home, add to over time, and refer back to again and again- acting as a living document for your skills and exploration!

This class is designed for anyone in mind, from skilled needleworkers to complete beginners.

What will we cover?

In this class, we will cover:

  • Essential Tools and Materials

  • How to use an Embroidery Hoop

  • Threading & Handling Sewing Needles

  • Beginner-Friendly Stitches

Accessibility

  • Wheelchair Accessible Venue

  • Gender Neutral Bathrooms

  • Quiet Spaces
