In the world of writing there’s a famous adage all writers know about how to produce powerful writing – Show, Don’t Tell. But for the everyday beginner, most of us don’t know how to implement that advice.
In this session Liliane will focus on just this – exercises, activities and ideas to unwrap the mystery and have you writing vivid worlds and settings.
What will we cover?
We’ll discuss what ‘good writing’ really is, and you’ll learn three strategies for producing impactful writing – guaranteed. You’ll practise those skills during a number of writing exercises and be blown away by how easy it is to generate powerful writing on demand.

Who will be teaching?
Liliane Grace (she/her) has been writing since childhood, teaching Creative Writing for over thirty years, and working as an editor of fiction and non-fiction throughout the 2000s.
Her award-winning first novel was followed by another four, plus two children’s picture books. She is currently working on a YA novel and writing a musical about health. (Thanks to RADF for a grant to write thefirst draft!).
