So you’ve been “hooked” and are happily crocheting all over the place in singles and slip stitches…. but now what? You want to attempt that cute amigurumi and need to know doubles and triples? Or would you like to make that trendy beanie but have no idea what a magic circle or ring is?
Join us and learn a few more stitches and techniques to take your crochet to the next level!
Please note that you’ll need to be able to slip knot, chain and single crochet to attend this class. Come to the 6.15pm class if you need a refresher.
What will we cover?
- Double and triple crochet (USA) or treble and double treble (UK)
- Magic ring or circle for crocheting on the round
- Shell or fan stitch
- Popcorn or bubble stitch
What will we cover?
Beginners crochet comes with a new hook and yarn but for this class it’s best if you bring your preferred medium size hook and yarn to match. Let us know via email if you prefer we buy a set for you at $6.

Who will be Teaching?
Maria (she/her) has crafted many weird and wonderful things since getting hooked on crochet, and she shows no signs of stopping!
In addition to crochet and crafting, she also has a passion for cooking and baking, light painting, Spanish shoes and running Laneway Learning.
