What’s it all about?
Melbourne’s Hoddle grid is full of wonderful heritage buildings. Have you noticed their details and flair? Would you like to know them a bit better? let’s capture our favourite memories of these places and draw, ink and watercolour a heritage building.
Marloes will guide us through the process, offering tips and advice on how to use watercolours, pens or markers to create your own watercolour heritage building image. This class is suited to any age and skill level.
The Hoddle Grid Heritage Review recommends 137 new individual places and five precincts be protected in the Melbourne Planning Scheme. The Review is to be implemented through Amendment C387 (Permanent Controls). We encourage you to have your say during the exhibition of Amendment C387 until it closes on 17 December 2020.
The interactive map provides details of the places and precincts to be included in Heritage Overlays under Amendment C387. Simply type the address you are interested in within the search box, or zoom in to the property and select it to open a pop-up box. In this box will be a photo of the property, a summary of what is proposed and a link to the property’s citation.
