The pelvic clock is famous in the Feldenkrais world for being an ingenious and delightful movement lesson.
In this session Ralph Hadden will guide you through a sequence of pelvic movements to gradually build skillful control of fine movements of your pelvis, coordinating with your legs, spine and whole being. The moves will build to the beautiful pelvic clock action.
The pelvis is a vital centre of your being. It’s the power centre for all significant actions of the whole body. This session will help you maximise the power, grace and pleasure potential of your vital centre.
This class suits both beginners and continuing students, all ages and all levels of ability.
What will we cover?
This will be an exercise for mind and body to free up your pelvis, hips and spine, which is also soothing and energising. You will train your
pelvis to move smoothly with specific control enabling you to move freely in all directions.
The lesson will be done sitting and lying on a comfortable surface (say on a yoga mat on the floor) and is done gently and easily, at your own pace, so it is suitable for all levels of fitness/unfitness, all levels of flexibility/inflexibility.
It can also be adapted to be done sitting in a chair.
