What’s it all about?
Slow down, breathe deeply, and create from a place within.
In this immersive guided art workshop, you’ll be invited into the world of Follow Me Down the River — a meditation experience inspired by poetry, symbolism, texture, and healing through art.
Using a large original artwork as a visual anchor, you can choose to gently close your eyes and drift into the guided meditation, or stay present with the painting and let its imagery guide you. Together, we’ll create symbolic cup artworks inspired by themes from the poem: rivergum leaves, earth, cracks, gold, softness, resilience, and rest.
No artistic experience needed — this class is about expression, reflection, and curiosity rather than perfection.
What will we cover?
This is a step-by-step creative workshop blending mindfulness, symbolism, and mixed media art-making.
Throughout the session we’ll respond to moments from the guided meditation through simple creative prompts.
The workshop closes with optional tea gentle conversation.
You’ll leave with a deeply personal artwork and a creative process that invites stillness, reflection, and self-expression.
