  • Inspirational websites and other online finds.
  • Tips on how to mould it, colour it, paint it and store it.
  • Step by step process for making a pretty little unicorn topper for your cupcake.

Who will be teaching?

Maria Yebra is a self-taught passionate baker and cupcake maker, if there is such a title… She started cake topping as a hobby by doing cupcakes for friends’ parties and soon she had baked her way through all the cake recipe books in her library. Then she discovered fondant and how much fun is it, just like playing with playdough when you were little. She has moulded everything from Star Wars toppers to bulldogs, dragons, elephants and even memo notes. Maria runs Cupcaketeer, a cupcake blog, where she posts about her latest fondant/cupcake creations and is also part of Laneway Learning organising team.
