What’s it all about?

Join us and learn how to fold impressive three-dimensional geometric origami forms by assembling identical pieces together! The more modules you fold, the more intricate will be the final polyhedra. The sky is the limit!

What will we cover?

In this session you will learn how to construct different three-dimensional origami models, all starting from the same single square piece of paper, the Sonobe module. Manuela will show you how to assemble 3 (hexahedron), 6 (cube), 12 (octahedron) and 30 (icosahedron) identical modules without tape or glue to create different polyhedrons.
It’s a great type of origami to practice, because the modules are pretty simple and the result is so impressive!

Who will be teaching?

Manuela is an origami enthusiast and has a background in Mathematics. She is passionate about geometry, jewellery and origami. At the moment Manuela spends her time creating jewellery, decorative art and installations using intricate origami models.
