What’s it all about?
Woodblock printing is one of the oldest printing techniques used for artistic expression, it is a simple way to make unique and replicable prints. This workshop will teach you how to make your first woodblock print, from carving the wood board, to hand printing an edition of your work.
What will we cover?
If you have an idea or an image you would like to work on, feel free to bring reference photos or a drawing. During this class, we will guide you through a step-by-step creative process. Upon completion, you will walk away with your own custom (reusable) woodblock and a couple of woodblock prints.
