Ever wanted to learn Japanese but didn’t know where to start?

Come and join Katrina, teacher and Japan enthusiast, as she shares with you her knowledge of the Japanese language.

No prior knowledge of Japanese is necessary!

What will we cover?

In this workshop you will learn how to:

– Japan History & culture

– Basic expressions

– How to ask for something

– Expressions you won’t find in a textbook

– Writing styles

– Helpful hints for visiting Japan

Who will be teaching?

Katrina (she/her) has a long association with Japan, having lived there for many years. She has explored many remote parts of Japan and has even climbed Mt Fuji twice. 

As a qualified and experienced teacher, she enjoys imparting her knowledge on several subjects, especially interpreting skills. 

When not trying to get her head around complex Japanese grammar she enjoys Hawaiian dancing, Mahjong, cryptic crosswords and working in different capacities to help animals.
