What’s it about?

Have you ever wondered why you continue to feel unwell or unsettled even when you are doing all the ‘right’ things for your health – getting plenty of exercise, drinking lots of water, eating all the right food, spending time with family and being social? The answer may be closer than you think!

Peeling away all of the layers of good habits, we come to face an often overlooked but vital aspect of wellbeing – our inner dialogue. This dialogue can make us or break us with its content and sentiment. In the world of yoga, this is managed through increased mindfulness as well as the practice of ‘ahimsa’, which is a form of kindness or non-violence to the self, others, and the world. This approach can be a very helpful tool in healing and changing the tone of our inner dialogues and enhancing wellbeing.

Join us as we unpack and explore a path to ahimsa and mindfulness in this fun and uplifting class.

What will we cover?

In this class you will learn:

  • The basics of mindfulness, ahimsa (kindness) and how it is linked to well-being
  • How to get more in-tune with your self
  • How to manage triggers and enhance your strengths

  • Simple focus and meditation techniques that you can use any time and anywhere to improve mindfulness
