Acrylic paint markers (most known brand is POSCA pens) are water-based painting pens that have the opaque look of acrylic paint while still being precise and easy to use.
They dry very quick and suitable for all sorts of materials: wood, glass, metal, rocks, canvases, etc. and can be used in posters, paintings, lettering and so much more. Nowadays some even come with a brush tip for both finer and broader applications.
If you’ve wanted to try them out but aren’t sure if they’re suitable for your art, come along and we’ll teach you some techniques of blending, layering to mix shades, easily covering over mistakes from other mediums like watercolor.
