What’s it all about?

Thinking of throwing away those old macrame items in your wardrobe? Maybe you should keep them. No longer confined to the 70s, macrame is making a comeback to modern bathrooms, living spaces and even kitchens. Whether you are a macrame novice or still living in the 70s, we will take a refreshed look at how you can use macrame in your home. And you will be able to make a little macrame plant hanger to take back!

What will we cover?

You will learn the basic knots of macrame making, and we’ll go through some of the common knots that can be used to make macrame for textiles. After learning the basic knots, we will use them to make a basic macrame plant hanger. Bring your own jar or vase of about 15cm diameter and we will learn how to adjust the planter according to the size of the pot or vase.
