Macrame is an ancient art used in Arab countries to weave fabrics, create decorations and so much more. With a few simple knots you can create stunning (and very useful) designs.
Come and learn macrame basics while making a daisy chain strap which can be used as a wristlet for your phone, keyring, belt, headband… why not!
This sweet pattern is perfect for beginners and we’ll have lots of colours to choose from.

- How to start with macrame: cutting rope, what materials are best to use
- How to do square knots, Lark’s head knot, single and double hitch
- How to add beads amongst knots

Who will be Teaching?
Maria (she/her) is a serial crafter. She loves learning about new crafts and techniques! She does crochet, macrame, sewing, pottery, weaving and likes to explore how these crafts can be combined and expanded.
