This is a two-part class taking place 7.45-9pm on Wednesday 13th and 20th May 2026 (fee covers both classes)
What’s it all about?
Come and make your own silver medallion pendant over two classes, using the “lox wax casting” technique.
In the first week you will learn how to work with pink wax and make a design on a medallion
In between classes your teacher will have your piece cast into sterling silver. A cast is set around the wax and molten sterling silver is injected into it, melting the wax away (hence ‘lost wax’) and filling its space with sterling silver create an exact version of your wax design.
In the second week we will smooth, file, polish and finish off our silver pieces. You can opt to oxidise your piece if you prefer an aged look.
This is 100% beginner class and your beautiful teacher Qing will be with you every step of the way to help you make the pendant of your dreams!
