What’s it all about?

We’ve all heard the buzz about mindfulness lately but can we be more mindful when it comes to food?

What will we cover?

This delectable, mindful eating class will illuminate everyday practices that will encourage you, the eater, to become more mindful of your mouthfuls. We eat with our eyes not just our mouths, hence the expression: “your eyes are bigger than your stomach!”

Hungry participants will be guided through a variety of sensory activities. Treat your tastebuds to tasty bite-sized morsels that are sure to linger on your palette’s memory long after the evening is over.

Who will be teaching?

SallySally McKittrick is founder & facilitator at Make Thrift Creative Services. One arm of her multifaceted business – Tableux Food – endeavours to connect people with the food they consume through edible events that are relevant and meaningful to people’s everyday lives. Nothing fancy, just good food – seasonal, savoured, shared.
