Is it time to shake out some stresses and reconnect with your body in an expressive way? Or maybe any sort of movement floats your boat?

Dance for yourself or for the dance floor with Océane. Océane applies her formal dance training to less formal styles of modern dance and movement.

Her focus is to empower through dance and provide chances to move, gently reminding ourselves to take up space!

No dance experience necessary, just come along and let yourself move!

What will we cover?

In this workshop we will explore:

  • Warm ups and safe dance/movement techniques
  • Exercises to connect with your body
  • Some simple routines that are out of the ordinary

Please wear comfortable clothes that allow for movement (jeans not recommended!). The venue is carpeted and will be shoes off.

  • Wheelchair Accessible Venue
  • Gender Neutral Bathrooms
  • Quiet Spaces

    Who will be teaching?

Océane (She/Her) is a French artist entrepreneur who founded Enjoy French (with Oceane), a special language school where people can express their creativity while learning French and experiencing French culture.

Océane is currently developing fun & convivial workshops using
interactive and creative activities (such as cooking) to introduce the
French language and culture to non-native speakers.

Océane loves crepes (her favourite treat) and is an expert among her
friends & family (French and Aussie). She started making crêpes with
her mom when she was a little girl and since then, she learnt to master
the recipe transmitted from her own grand-ma. Check her out on Facebook or Instagram.
