This event is part of Neighbourhood Circle Nights, happening at the Immigration Museum during August and Sept 23.
Polymer clay is an accessible, colourful and versatile material – a lot of fun to use, but even better with some introductory tips to get you going.
There are different types of clays and bake times, and different techniques to create shapes, blend colours, emboss, and express your colourful polymer visions!
We’ll put this into practice and everyone can make a polymer clay keyring!
What will we cover?
In this class we will learn to:
- Condition the clay
- Mix the colours
- Create a marble effect
- Bake the polymer, plus tips on how to do this at home
Who will be teaching?
Fran Miller-Pezo likes to try her hand at anything and everything.
She’s worked for comedy festivals, performed in shows, ran her own
craft market and tour managed her way around the world with rock bands.
She has a soft spot for designing and creating original crafts.
