Beading is an attractive, colourful and impressive craft in any
application. The only downside is how much time it can take, when you ‘re
sewing bead by bead.
In this beginner class we will be working with beads and learning about beading, but we’re going to fast track the process.
With a design in mind we can string long strands of beads which we then glue into place on a secure
backing. By keeping
the beads altogether on a strand you won’t have any beads falling off or sections un-threading.
And the results are just as impressive! Some come flex your creative and curious minds and try No-Sew beading to make a fun piece of jewellery.
This is a beginning friendly class with all materials provided, including different types of jewellery fixings.
What will we cover?
In this hands-on beaded workshop you will learn:
- Tips on bead threading – materials and tools
- Design tips – not too small and fiddly, clear shapes
- Using different beads to enhance your design
- Different jewellery fixings and how to attach them
What should I bring?
All materials are provided, but please bring something to take your project home safely, such as a small bag/purse.
