Everyone has different desires, pleasurable areas or kinks that make us ourselves. Emerging psychologist Toya takes you on a journey to discover and map the things that you need in your body, mind and environment to generate pleasure.
You will reflect on what pleasure centres of your body are hot spots and which might not be shining as brightly and then create a piece of art using a canvas and lights to develop your own pleasure constellation.
This artwork will be a personal reminder of your own personal pleasure map which you will get to take away at the end of the class.
This is the ultimate craft meets pleasure meets art class!
What will we cover?
In this creative arts experience you will:
• Reflect on your experiences of pleasure and how they are felt in your body, mind and environment.
• Map and express your pleasure using canvas art and lights.
• Learn how to honour and savour both pleasure and pain.
At the end of the workshop you will walk away with a piece of beautiful light up art to remind you of your pleasure constellation – just like these ones —->
Who will be Teaching?
Toya (she/her) has spent the past fifteen years facilitating creativity through art and technology.
As an emerging sexologist she applies her creative expertise to sexuality education and research.
Toya is passionate about helping people reveal and evolve their sexual expression through art and technology as an essential part of their overall health and wellbeing.
