Quirky Animal Accessories with Christine

Get ready and hands on for this fun animal accessory makeover! Choose some favourite toy animals to bejewel, paint and decorate, and turn uniquely personalised accessories.

A matte black base coat is a good first step – striking in it’s own right, or a good base to build from. Add your own simple patterns or decoration with contrasting colours and textures – metallic markers, neon paints, a touch of glitter.

Then learn to affix a brooch backing – go subtle, or utilise jewellers wire to create visible attachments part of your design.

If a brooch isn’t quite your style, you might like to turn your critters into large or small hair clips, or even fridge magnets. We have lots of accessory options.

What will we cover?

In this fun, very hands-on class we will:

  • Choose our animals and critters: Scorpio scorpion? Buffalo Aficionado? Dino Fan? The choice is yours.
  • Give our friends a matte black base coat
  • Once dry, use paints, markers, glitters and other options to add decoration and bling! The matte black will really make colour choices stand out!
  • Once dry a second time, we’ll learn to attach our brooch backings and accessory fixings

All materials provided – just come and have a wonderful time!
