Winter is practically here and our thoughts turn to cozy mugs of soup by the fire. But who has time for a traditional soup that takes hours to make and beans to soak? What if you could make great, soul soothing, nourishing soups in just 20 minutes?

In this class your teacher Kate will prepare three different soups that are budget friendly while satisfying the need for comfort food in under 20 minutes each.

All soups are vegetarian, and we will cover substitutions and complimentary ingredients in class. So come along and arm yourself for a cosy Winter of super soups and stocks.

What will we cover?

During the class we will:

  • Learn how to make 3 super quick soups through demonstrations
  • Try out the soups in class as we cook them
  • Learn about substitutions for different reasons: meat/vegetarian/vegan/GF, on a budget
  • Learn about stocks and making your own
  • Take home recipes to try at home

    Who will be teaching?

    Kate (she/her) is a keen adventurer, lifelong learner and enthusiastic cook who forgets to start cooking until she gets hungry (hangry?), so she has a wealth of recipes and shortcuts to get healthy, satisfying food on the table, fast.
