What’s is all about?

Want to write a story, but don’t know where to start? Creative writing has many benefits for mental health, organising your feelings or just as an outlet to clarify concepts. In this class we’ll learn the basics of creative and feature writing from ex-journo Michelle. We’ll cover how to generate story ideas, how to ask questions and practise write a short feature piece.

Michelle ChengWho will be teaching?

Michelle is a media advisor and ex-journo with bylines in The Guardian, ABC and Yahoo7 News. She has reported internationally, travelling across the Asia Pacific shooting for the Japanese Newspaper The Asahi Shimbun. Prior to journo life, she was a lawyer, quiz show TV writer for The Chase Australia and a TV presenter on the ABC quiz show ‘Think Tank’.
