What’s it all about?

Making cool things from stuff that would usually go in the bin is fun: turn your trash into treasure! The beer carton notebook came about for good beer week’s craft + craft, so come in and get crafty with your leftover beer cartons. Chloe will also gladly take any leftover beer off your hands.

What will we cover?

Choose your own beer carton and turn it into a neat little notebook. With step-by-step instructions for this simple design you will be measuring, cutting, gluing and binding like a professional salvage artist. And you will take home your very own handmade A6 sized notebook. We will also look at other salvage art ideas and ways to re-invent things you already have.

Who will be teaching?

Chloe Gunn is a theatre maker and salvage artist. Crafty since she was a kid, she loves playing with connector pens, hot glue guns and her best friend, Stanley the knife. After completing her degree in 2012, Chloe went travelling, exploring and discovering. Having returned to Melbourne, Chloe has started Gunnbelievable Salvage Art and her studio workshop is just getting started.
