Let’s get our vegan home cooking on!

There are very few dishes that can’t be made vegan but people often don’t realise that they can make them at home, from scratch!

If you want to take your brunch game to the next level, come learn how to make two varieties of vegan eggs – poached eggs and sunny side up. 

What will we cover?

In this lesson you will:

  • Be introduced to the nuts and bolts of vegan eggs making
  • Receive vegan egg recipes
  • Learn how to make two vegan egg varieties that are guaranteed to impress
  • Cook along as we make your delicious eggs together
  • Receive some serving suggestions

What will I need?

You are welcome to cook along with Elodie or just sit back and take in the learning.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 T nutritional yeast
  • ¼ tsp xanthan gum 
  • ¼ tsp kala namak (black salt)
  • ¼ tsp sweet or ground paprika
  • ¼ tsp turmeric
  • ¼ cup soy milk
  • ¼ cup Nuttelex
  • 500g firm tofu, drained
  • 2 Tbsp potato starch
  • 2 tsp xanthan powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 100g silken tofu, drained
  • 2 Tbsp potato starch
  • bean curd sheets (yubba – 1 pack)

    Who will be Teaching?

    Elodie (she/her) has always had an interest in wildlife and studied marine ecology before she fell in love with Australia and its wildlife. She has 12 years of experience interacting with amazing animals throughout the world through volunteer projects, field assistant positions, and her own research. 

    She is an Emergency Response Operator at Wildlife Victoria and also works for Remember The Wild, an organisation aiming at reconnecting people with nature, for their own benefit and that of the environment. 

    She is passionate about sustainable living and is always trying to find new ways to cook delicious vegan meals from scratch.
