Come and learn how to sign in Auslan (Australian Sign Language)!

In this workshop we will learn some of the sign language basics like how to do the alphabet, weather and greetings!

We recommend attending the Auslan Theory & History workshop at 6:15pm with Hadley before starting on learning to sign.

There is a class right before this one so a great opportunity to do a double workshop!

What will we cover?

In this workshop we will explore:

  • How to sign the alphabet
  • How to sign general greetings, food, weather and more!

    Who will be Facilitating? 

    Hadley (she/they) is an energetic queer human who is always on the move. Hadley is a Auslan teacher and Deaf mentor with Open That Door.

    They are also passionate about mental health and advocacy for the Deaf Community.

    Hadley is profoundly Deaf and uses Auslan everyday.
