What’s it all about?
Hate those dreaded watermark rings on your table? Want to dabble in a bit of table art… why not make your own coasters? These quirky coasters aren’t just for coffee connoisseurs or tea-totallers.
Create your own masterpieces for your home using tiles and all sorts of paper from scrapbooking paper to magazines and beer cartons.
What will we cover?
Everything you need to know to make the ‘coasters with the mostest’! You will learn about using decoupage technique to create your individual pieces of coffee table art. The technique is easy enough to learn to repeat it at home and create individualised gifts. All materials are provided, however if you have particular paper (old maps, magazine pages, paper packaging) that you would like to use, feel free to bring it along.
Who will be teaching?
Julia is a secondary school teacher specialising in home economics. She loves all sorts of craft, but particularly craft that can be used to up-cycle old items. She has learnt most of her skills from her mother and grandmothers and loves to pass them on to others.
