Creating a basic floorplan – simple tips to map out your space.

Tools to help with space planning – explore resources and apps to make planning easier. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have practical skills and ideas to make any room functional, comfortable, and visually appealing.
To get the most out of the hands-on activity, please bring:
• A photo of the room you want to work on (optional but helpful)
• A room floorplan/ outline – 5 copies (optional): It doesn’t need to be to scale, but please include the room’s length and width, as well as key features such as windows, doors, and built-in elements.
If you don’t have a room or floor plan you want to work on, one will be provided for the activity.

Who will be teaching?
Joey Camilleri is the founder of Creating Positive Spaces, a professional organising and styling service that helps people simplify their homes and create functional, calming spaces. With a calm, compassionate, and client-focused approach, Joey supports individuals in reducing clutter, making mindful decisions, and setting up sustainable systems that genuinely work in everyday life.
With almost 10 years of experience, Joey provides neurodivergent-affirming, non-judgmental guidance tailored to each client’s needs. Their work spans home decluttering, organising and styling. Joey holds a Certificate IV in Interior Decoration, a Graduate Diploma in Psychological Studies, a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, and specialist certifications in ADHD and chronic disorganisation. They are also a member of the Institute for Challenging Disorganization (ICD) and the National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals (NAPO). Bio photo
