What’s it all about?

Everyone loves pasta, and in this class we’ll find out how to make it delicious and fresh! Think of how much home made bread is better…

As we know pasta is from Italy, right? Who knew that it actually came from China, and that the tomatoes for the sauce came from Mexico.

What will we cover?

We’ll go over a little of the history of pasta, the different types and which sauces they are used with. You will even find out  why you can’t say some of their names in polite company! We’re going to get our hands dirty and make our own pasta, and some of you will even be able to take some home to cook for yourselves. All you need to bring is some questions in order to learn to real tricks of the trade.

Who will be teaching?

Ashley Cancain has delighted students from Mexico to Montreal, from Spain to South Melbourne in the  making of pasta, gnocchi, ravioli and really any delicious pasta based dish in the Italian cook book.  His passion for pasta is only matched by his passion for travel.
