Shibari is the erotic practice of traditionally informed Japanese rope bondage. Join us for a guided journey into this exciting world!
In this introduction to shibari we will learn the important foundations of safety and rope-craft before learning some basic yet effective knots and techniques for both the tie-ers (Riggers) and the tie-ees (Bunnies)
All welcome. The lesson structure is designed so that we learn to tie rope on ourselves. No partner necessary, and no previous experience is required.
What we will cover?
In this class, you will learn:
- Some basic Shibari forms
- Foundational knots and frictions
- Critical safety and anatomy information
- The history of this beautiful art form
- Bondage rope will be provided to use during this class, but feel free to also bring your own

This workshop is facilitated by local Shibari artist Harli Adalia – an anatomy specialist, with a unique and deep understanding of the Shibari journey.
