What’s it all about?

Everyone’s heard of the Amazon jungle. But have you ever considered exploring the most northern part of South America, where the Colombian desert meets the ocean? Or while you’re in Cusco to visit Machu Picchu, did you know that just three hours away is a rainbow coloured mountain?

South America is a top destination for many Australians. And with good reason. It’s really, really big and it’s busting at the seams with hundreds of activities and adventures. Just waiting for you to find!

What will we cover?

We will take a journey through South America. Explore different countries and some of the ‘off the beaten track’ adventures these places have to offer.

This is the stuff you won’t hear from a travel agent!

We will look at photos, talk about experiences and broaden our knowledge. Learn what there is to do and see in this dynamic, wonderfully diverse continent.

Who will be teaching?

Maree in South AmericaMaree has just returned from ten months travelling around the world with her partner. They spent six of those months travelling from Colombia to Chile and Argentina, experiencing all the magic South America has to offer. Maree is now back in Melbourne and wants to share all her knowledge and experience from the South American trail.
