Wished you knew more about Spanish wine?
In this class you’ll enjoy some Spanish wine and learn all about the regions and styles of Spanish wine right here in Melbourne.
What will we cover?
We will taste wine from some of Spain’s best and most famous wine regions.
Over the night we will taste a variety of the wines produced from some of Spain’s most long-lived and expensive wine-making regions. We will explain the wine-making process and the grapes used to make these wines.
We will go on a journey from the high plains to the coastal area, traveling though the valleys, tasting some top top quality wines throughout. We’ll taste wine from the regions of Ribera del Duero, Penedés, Rueda, Toro y Cava, with Verdejo, Tempranillo, Garnacha. Plus, there are more Spanish varieties to discover, and even a very unique wine, Vermouth.
In total, we’ll look at seven very different styles of wines so you can find out which style you like best. No previous experience in tasting is needed, just willingness to learn about Spanish wine in a relaxed and fun environment – suitable for everyone (over 18!).
